Tesla Coil Audio Driver ("the App") at teslacoil.app respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: email address and display name when you create an account (via Supabase Auth)
• Profile data: username, avatar, and bio you choose to set
• Usage data: game scores, leaderboard entries, and community sequences you publish
• Analytics: anonymised page views and events via Google Analytics (GA4)
• Payment data: processed by Stripe. We do not store card details
• Feedback: messages you submit through the feedback form

3. Data We Do Not Collect

The App runs primarily in your browser. Audio generation, playback, and calibration settings are stored locally on your device. We do not access your microphone, camera, contacts, or location.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the App
• To display leaderboards and community content
• To process purchases and donations
• To respond to feedback and support requests
• To understand usage patterns (anonymised analytics)

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: authentication and database hosting
• Vercel: application hosting
• Stripe: payment processing
• Google Analytics: anonymised usage analytics
• Resend: transactional email

Each service has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them if you have concerns.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

The App uses cookies for authentication sessions and user preferences (e.g. dismissed dialogs). Local storage is used for calibration settings and offline functionality. No third-party tracking cookies are set beyond Google Analytics.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time through your profile settings. Analytics data is retained in anonymised form.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via the in-app feedback form or at hello@teslacoil.app.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.
